From the moment I called looking for a place to stay they were helpful professional, and sincere. They accurately described an awesome place to stay, gave me a very fair rate, returned the depost in less time than they said they would take, and were wholly pleasant to work with, I absolutely recommend them highly!
If there was a way to give it no stars, I would. We checked in and were given a packet with keys and access code to the deeded beach. The access code was not correct. It included an alpha-character and there was not one on the gate. Ants in the living room and towels that looked like someone stole them from a Holiday Inn in 1973. When we checked out I tried to let them know about the access code. The rude people that worked there got defensive and said the correct code was in the packet on another piece of paper. I challenged them to find it. She would not even look for it because she knew she was lying to begin with. Totally unprofessional. I would not rent through them nor would I list any property with them. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with their personnel.
After reading some of the negative feedback that has been left on Google, I was hesitant about renting a condo through Destin Beach Realty. But, I decided to go ahead and give them a chance. I am so glad I did. From beginning to end everything went smoothly. They were super helpful and friendly. They gave excellent customer service! Would highly recommend them and plan on using them again in the future.
While the condo is great, dealing with Destin Beach Realty was terrible. Heather, the manager was short, rude and terse to deal with over the phone. Quite an eye opener for a customer who is spending close to $1000 with their company. Obviously we are aware that they only receive a portion of these funds, however future and current property owners beware - this person could literally scare off your business with her short and rude behavior. She obviously needs a lesson in customer service 101 and how to work with customers to ensure that not only their stay is flawless, but the logistics behind the booking and reservation process are handled with dignity and class - something that was not done in my case. We will never book another condo with Destin Beach Realty and will never recommend this company to our large network of travel happy friends..
