Great place for kids. Everything in walking distance. Straight across from the parking garage was the adventure land. We enjoyed that the most. Kids free to be kids without constant adult hovering. Benches with shade and a fence with only one entrance made it easy to just let them go be kids. Climbing, running, swinging, hide and seek and more. The area had soft rubber mulch. Bathrooms and drinking fountains were next door behind the ice cream shop. My children weren't crowded either. Only one or two other families were playing at a time. Just be careful where you set down your purse in the stadium style benches. I had to contend with tiny ants trying to board ship when I picked it back up.

Come for the fun, NOT the food. Plenty to do for all ages but the food is subpar at best with some of it altogether inedible. We’ve tried all the restaurants over the years and the only good one (ACME) just moved. The management really needs to get a grip on the food quality.

The location of this place if to be described in a word would be... 'perfect'. The rooms are adequately equipped & we had the experience of an studio apartment with a separate bedroom, private laundry & a sit-out balcony, swimming pool access. Miramar Regional beach is just minutes away from this place. Theres Marina Bay area just behind the Baytowne village with a scenic pier built right into the ocean. Plentiful of activity options such as cycling, golfing, golf cart rentals, tennis courts, water sports rentals & activities, park living with private luxury villas. Had an amazing experience here for about 5 days but all this comes at a price which is expensive! But overall a very good experience.

We went around just to explore and see what was going on there. Seems like there were plenty of places to eat and get snacks which is nice. Lots of activities, most of which were geared towards kids. We stopped at a shop called Candymaker to try some candy(of course), but received no help or acknowledgement as soon as my group of three walked inside. Three workers at the door stared at us and did not say a word. We ignored the lack of smiles and walked in front of the display case and expressed that we were interested in buying something. No one came over to help or course. One minute later another couple walks in, and the worker who has her back turned to the door turns around to greet them. Now I hate to even bring race into the equation, but what else could it have been? We refused to spend any money here.

It's a great area. Lots of things to do with the kids and some great restaurants and bars. Really fun place for the whole family.
