I love this place. Sure, the big box stores offer lots more stuff. But, I usually spend *way* too much time, wandering the aisles, hoping a helpful person will steer me in the right direction. At my local Ace Hardware store, there is *always* someone to help me find what I need and offer tips and advice. But the real reason why I love this store is the sheer variety of what they have to offer in a tight little space. I just love to browse, because I always find something that I couldn't find anywhere else, or didn't even know existed! I love Ace, and this one is no exception. The staff is so helpful, and it's the kind of place that feels like home (if "home" had everything that you need for anything, all the time!). Plus, the caramels at the counter are awesome!
I went to have my propane tank filled, which I use to heat and cook in my home, and they refused service because it was barely drizzling outside. Extremely disappointed in the service I got from my neighborhood Ace, and as a local fisherman and construction worker, I will no longer be using Ace as the place where I spend thousands of dollars every year to buy the necessities for my home and job.
I went in the store looking for items for my home the big heavyset salesman was extremely rude I walked out I vowed never to go back there again
Best Ace Hardware close to me. Ran by a Christian family that will go out of there way to assist you. You are greeted by a friendly knowledgeable staff.
It is nice to have this store close by. They have all those little things that you can't find anywhere else.
